Founded in 1970 by Dick Schneider, Schneider Packaging is an innovative manufacturer of end-of-line packaging machinery and solutions, operating in various markets including food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and personal care. The business was successfully operated by the Schneider family until 2018, when ownership was transitioned to operating executives Bob Brotzki, Greg Masingill, and Mike Smith.

In partnership with GenNx360, Harvey & Company coinvested into Schneider Packaging in September 2019 with the goal of creating a one-source touch for best-in-class automation across the packaging line. In April 2021, our group completed the acquisition of Phoenix Wrappers, a provider of state-of-the-art stretch wrapping technology, and created Pacteon Group to serve as a holding company for the organizations. Later that year in December 2021, ESS Technologies was added to the platform, which greatly enhanced the group’s cartoning and case packing capabilities. Today, portfolio companies in the Pacteon Group benefit from the ability to integrate technologies seamlessly across the organization while utilizing best-in-class operating practices and magnified resources.
