Southern Waste Services, Inc. Announces Investment by ShoreView Industries

Panama City, FL – Southern Waste Services, Inc. (“SWS”), (D/B/A SWS First Response and SWS Remediation), a leading environmental services firm with sixteen service centers located throughout the Southeastern United States, is pleased to announce an investment by ShoreView Industries to provide growth capital for the Company. ShoreView Industries is a Minneapolis, Minnesota based firm that manages $600 million in private equity funds. ShoreView invests in established, middle-market companies with operations in North America, across a wide range of industries.
ShoreView joins the management team and founding family as the major shareholders of SWS following the owners’ interest in identifying a financial sponsor to support the Company’s continued growth. “We are excited to work with ShoreView and its team in order to pursue strategic acquisitions, establish new service center locations, expand existing services, and offer new services,” said SWS President Jim Weber, Jr. “ShoreView’s exceptional investment track record and capital base will be invaluable to SWS as we evaluate our numerous growth alternatives.”

ShoreView’s investment follows a thorough review of the industry. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
