Many of the opportunities are received during the “deal evaluation” stage which ultimately turn in to permanent positions if the investor successfully closes the transaction. Operating Partners and Senior Advisors should be well-networked, have keen insights into industry landscape, have the ability and desire to mentor incumbent management teams, and should enjoy pursuing transactions.
